Piercing and Stone Inlay Metal Workshop

In this workshop, students will learn/review their piercing skills and then explore implementing crushed stone inlay into pierced designs. Students will first pierce a design into a top plate and solder it to a back plate, then crush the stone, and then inlay it into the channels pierced. Students will be using a variety of fabrication skills including drilling, piercing, sawing, soldering, stone inlay, filing, sanding and buffing.

A materials fee of $45 is payable to the instructor on the day of the class.
