Directed Open Studio: Sunday afternoon

Open to intermediate students and above. You've got an idea so bring that and the materials you need. If you'll need special hand tools, bring those too. This is an open studio-style class. You'll have some individual time with Madeline to improve and practice as you work to make your idea real.
Raising and Sinking Copper Vessels

In this class, you will learn the fundamental skills required for sinking and raising copper vessels. In the first session, you will sink a small bowl, including finishing it with a foot and a tempered edge. In the second session, you will begin a second piece, focusing on introductory raising techniques to form a taller vessel and then stretching it vertically.
